Jury Duty and Other Court Attendance. (a) An employee summoned for jury duty or to serve as a witness (not as a plaintiff or defendant) in a court case which necessitates absence from assigned COMPANY duty within the employee’s SCHEDULED WEEKLY TOUR shall be granted pay for such absence. Such an employee shall report for regularly assigned COMPANY duty while excused from such attendance in court unless it is impossible or unreasonable to do so.
