Labor Standard Clause Samples

Labor Standard. Subject to the provisions of Section 1810 to 1817, both inclusive, of the California Labor Code, the time of service of any laborer, ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, or mechanic employed on the work shall be limited and restricted to eight hours during any one calendar day, except as otherwise provided in said sections, and the Contractor shall forfeit, as a penalty to the Agency, $25.00 for each laborer, ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, mechanic employed in the execution of this Contract by him or any subcontractor under him, for each calendar day during which such laborer, ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, or mechanic is required or permitted to labor more than eight hours in violation of the provisions of the California Labor Code.
Labor Standard. The Subrecipient agrees to comply with the requirements of the Secretary of Labor in accordance with the ▇▇▇▇▇-▇▇▇▇▇ Act as amended, the provisions of Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act (40 U.S.C. 327 et seq.) and all other applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations pertaining to labor standards insofar as and when those acts apply to the performance of this Agreement. The Subrecipient agrees to comply with the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Anti-Kick Back Act (18 U.S.C. 874 et seq.) and the implementing regulations thereto issued by the U.S. Department of Labor at 29 CFR Part 5. The Subrecipient shall maintain documentation that demonstrates compliance with applicable hour and wage requirements.
Labor Standard. The Operator agrees to comply with the requirements of the Secretary of Labor in accordance with the ▇▇▇▇▇-▇▇▇▇▇ Act as amended, the provisions of Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act (40 U.S.C. 327 et seq.) and all other applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations pertaining to labor standards insofar as those acts apply to the performance of this Agreement. The Operator agrees to comply with the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Anti-Kick Back Act (18 U.S.C. 874 et seq.) and its implementing regulations of the U.S. Department of Labor at 29 CFR Part 5. The Operator shall maintain documentation that demonstrates compliance with hour and wage requirements of this part. Such documentation shall be made available to the City for review upon request.
Labor Standard. The Licensee shall adhere to provisions of Applicable Law on labour. The Licensee, its affiliates, contractors and subcontractors shall observe guidance provided by Good Industry Practice, as well as internationally recognized labour standards in relation to all International Labour Organization agreements to which the Cambodian government is a Party, and shall respect as provided therein the right of its employees to organize. The Licensee, its Affiliates, contractors and subcontractors shall not utilize forced labour, nor shall the Licensee, its affiliates, contractors and subcontractors utilize child labour, as outlined in the International Finance Corporation Policy Statement on Forced Labour and Harmful Child Labour of March 1998. The Licensee shall adopt a health and safety management system similar to ANZI Z10 or OHSAS 18001. The Licensee shall not engage in or support discrimination in hiring, remuneration, access to training, promotion, termination, or retirement based on race, national or social origin, caste, birth, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation, family responsibilities, marital status, union membership, political opinions, or age.
