The existing land use designation established by the Pierce County Comprehensive Plan is Mixed Use District (MUD) and the pre-annexation land use designations and corresponding zoning classifications adopted by the City on September 24, 2019 pursuant to Ordinance Number 28609 include Multi-family (Low Density), Neighborhood Commercial, R-3 Two Family Dwelling, R4-L Low Density Multi-Family Dwelling, C-1 Neighborhood Commercial, and STGPD South Tacoma Groundwater Protection District Overlay.
