Common use of Landlord Entitled to Award Clause in Contracts

Landlord Entitled to Award. Landlord shall be entitled to the entire award in any condemnation proceeding or other proceeding for taking for public or quasi-public use, including, without limitation, any award made for the value of the leasehold estate created by this Lease. No award for any partial or entire taking shall be apportioned, and Tenant hereby assigns to Landlord any award that may be made in such condemnation or other taking, together with any and all rights of Tenant now or hereafter arising in or to same or any part thereof; provided, however, that nothing contained herein shall be deemed to give Landlord any interest in or to require Tenant to assign to Landlord any separate award made to Tenant specifically for its relocation expenses, the taking of personal property and fixtures belonging to Tenant or the interruption of or damage to Tenant's business. Tenant shall be entitled to moving expenses.
