Common use of Landlord Right to Enter and to Relet Clause in Contracts

Landlord Right to Enter and to Relet. If Tenant abandons the Demised Premises as set forth in subsection (a) above, Landlord may, at its option, enter into the Demised Premises without being liable for any prosecution therefor or for damages by reason thereof. In addition to any other remedy elsewhere provided in this Section 12 or at law or in equity, Landlord, as agent of Tenant, may relet the whole or any part of the Demised Premises for the whole or any part of the then unexpired Lease Term. For the purposes of such reletting, Landlord may make any alterations or modifications of the Demised Premises considered desirable in its sole judgment.
