Common use of Landlord’s Consent Required Clause in Contracts

Landlord’s Consent Required. Tenant shall not assign, transfer, mortgage, pledge, hypothecate or encumber this Lease or any interest therein, and shall not sublet the Premises or any part thereof, without the prior written consent of Landlord and any attempt to do so without such consent being first had and obtained shall be wholly void and shall constitute a breach of this Lease.

Landlord’s Consent Required. Tenant shall not assign, transfer, mortgage, pledge, hypothecate or encumber this Lease or any interest therein, either voluntarily or involuntarily by operation of law or otherwise, and Tenant shall not sublet the Premises or any part thereof, without the prior written consent of Landlord and any attempt to do so without such consent being first had and obtained shall be wholly void and shall constitute a breach of this Lease, such consent shall not be unreasonably withheld.

Landlord’s Consent Required. Tenant shall not voluntarily or by operation of law assign, transfer, mortgage, pledgesublet, hypothecate or otherwise transfer or encumber all or any part of Tenant's interest in this Lease or any interest thereinin the Leased Premises, without Landlord's prior written consent, which consent may be withheld in Landlord's sole and absolute discretion. Any attempted assignment, transfer, mortgage, encumbrance or subletting without such consent shall be void, and shall not sublet the Premises or any part thereof, without the prior written consent of Landlord constitute an immediate material default and any attempt to do so without such consent being first had and obtained shall be wholly void and shall constitute a breach of this Lease.

Tenant shall not assign, transfer, mortgage, pledge, hypothecate hypothecate, or encumber this Lease or any interest therein, either voluntarily or involuntarily by operation of law or otherwise, and Tenant shall not sublet or assign the Premises or any part thereof, without the prior written consent of Landlord and any Landlord. Any attempt to do so without such consent from Landlord being first had and obtained shall be wholly void and shall constitute a breach of this Lease.
