While students placed in pending status may have a housing spot, some students may start the year in a temporary assignment.* Placement is made when space is available. *Temporary assignment: Some students may start the year in a temporary placement, which will have the full array of amenities and services. Permanent assignments open up as the year begins, and most students are permanently placed in the first few weeks of the fall semester.

When assigning teachers to the Exceptional Student Education Summer Extended School Year (ESY) program, priority will be given to those teachers who served these students during the preceding school year. Summer school teachers shall be employed for no fewer than three (3) hours daily.

Late Applicants are eligible for coverage under the RTIP Gold 750 plan as of the current or future date approved on the application, without Proof of Good Health. Coverage cannot be increased for 12 months, following the next January 1 renewal. To ensure that coverage is kept up to date for yourself and your Dependant(s), it is important that you report any changes to OTIP. All requests for changes, including changes with respect to Dependants’ coverage and Contribution payments, must be made by you, the Contract Holder.
