Common use of LATE RENT/REMEDIES Clause in Contracts

LATE RENT/REMEDIES. Xxxxxx agrees to pay rent and all charges on time. Rent is due on the 1st day of each month, and no further statement or notice will be provided. Landlord may pursue immediate action for rent and possession under State law, without notice, for late rent. If rent is not paid in full by the 10th day of the month, a late payment penalty not exceeding the higher of $10.00 or 5 percent of the Tenant’s gross tenant contribution will apply. Tenants receiving housing benefits from sources other than Rural Development may be subject to the late rent fee requirements of the other funding sources.
