Lateness and Absence Notification. If a teacher is delayed in coming to school, the building principal should be notified of the teacher's tentative arrival time. In case of absence, a teacher must report the absence by 6:00 a.m. at the secondary level, and 7:00 a.m. at the elementary level in order to allow time for a substitute to be secured.
