Law Applicable to Services 20. 4. The Consultant shall perform the Services in accordance with the Contract and the Applicable Law and shall take all practicable steps to ensure that any of its Experts and Sub-consultants, comply with the Applicable Law. 20.5. Throughout the execution of the Contract, the Consultant shall comply with the import of goods and services prohibitions in the Client’s country when (a) as a matter of law or official regulations, the Borrower’s country prohibits commercial relations with that country; or (b) by an act of compliance with a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations, the Borrower’s Country prohibits any import of goods from that country or any payments to any country, person, or entity in that country. 20.6. The Client shall notify the Consultant in writing of relevant local customs, and the Consultant shall, after such notification, respect such customs.
