LAWS AND REGULATIONS TO BE COMPLIED WITH. 28.1 The Law, which is to apply to this Agreement and according to which this Agreement is to be construed, shall be the Law of the Republic of South Africa unless otherwise stated. The Contractor shall in respect of all matters arising from the fulfilment of this Agreement, comply and ensure that the Contractor Employees comply with all laws, regulations, by- laws and/or requirements of local or other authorities which are applicable to this Agreement. 28.2 In this regard special reference is inter alia made to the following Acts that do not constitute an exhaustive list: - Road Traffic Act, Act 93 of 1996; - Occupational Health and Safety Act No 85 of 1993. (Also refer to Annexure A); - Hazardous Substances Act; and - Dangerous Goods Act. 28.3 The Contractor further undertakes to ensure that its agreements with its Employees and sub-contractors shall mutatis mutandis contain the same stipulations as provided for above and shall submit written proof to ArcelorMittal that it has complied with this stipulation. 28.4 In the event of the Contractor failing to comply with the abovementioned, such failure shall amount to a breach of the terms and conditions of this Agreement and shall entitle ArcelorMittal to act in accordance with clause 25 and 26 above.
