LAYOFFS AND CONTRACTING OUT. 13 A. Should conditions require a layoff, employees with the least departmental seniority 14 shall be laid off first. Employees shall be called back from layoff by departmental seniority, 15 the employee with the highest departmental seniority being the first to be called back. 16 B. The District agrees not to contract out any work normally performed by employees at 17 the present time without approval of the Union. 18 C. There shall be no layoffs of bargaining unit employees from September 1, 2014 19 through August 31, 2020.
