LBE Participation Clause Samples

The LBE Participation clause defines the requirements and procedures for including Local Business Enterprises (LBEs) in a contract or project. Typically, this clause outlines the percentage of work or value that must be allocated to certified LBEs, details the process for verifying LBE status, and may require regular reporting to demonstrate compliance. Its core function is to promote local economic development by ensuring that a portion of the contract benefits businesses within the local community, thereby supporting local job creation and economic growth.
