Common use of Lease Year Clause in Contracts

Lease Year. The term "Lease Year" as used in this Lease shall mean a period of twelve (12) consecutive calendar months during the term of this Lease. The first Lease Year shall begin on the Commencement Date if the Commencement Date occurs on the first day of a calendar month; if not, the first Lease Year shall begin on the first day of the calendar month next following the Commencement Date. Each succeeding Lease Year shall begin at the expiration of the immediately preceding Lease Year.
