Leave for Legal Matters. A. Temporary leaves with full pay will be granted to professionals when attendance is required at PERB hearings, court hearings, legislative hearings and other non-compensated legal processes providing such requirement is not the result of violation of Section 210 of the Civil Service Law. Professionals must use personal business days (Section 1) for personal legal business. B. Should a member of the professional staff be summoned for jury duty, the school district will continue to pay the professional’s salary.
