Leave for Teaching Programs. A leave may be granted to participate in exchange teaching programs in other states, territories or countries (foreign or military), wherein the teaching experience is determined by the Superintendent to be equivalent to similar teaching experience in The ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ School District. Upon such determination, full credit shall be given for placement on the salary schedule when the teacher returns. It shall be the responsibility of the teacher to submit evidence to the Superintendent.
