Common use of LEAVE RESULTING FROM JURY DUTY OR IN RESPONSE TO SUBPOENA Clause in Contracts

LEAVE RESULTING FROM JURY DUTY OR IN RESPONSE TO SUBPOENA. Teachers shall be granted leave for jury service or as a witness subpoenaed in a criminal, civil or juvenile proceeding. The District shall pay full contract salary to said personnel during such service. Any money earned during jury duty shall be endorsed back to the District. Any teacher claiming leave as a result of his or her receipt of a subpoena shall be responsible for presenting a copy of the subpoena to support the request for leave.
