Leave to attend Clause Samples

The 'Leave to attend' clause grants employees the right to take time off from work to attend specific events or obligations, such as court hearings, jury duty, or official appointments. Typically, this clause outlines the conditions under which leave can be requested, the types of events covered, and any documentation required to support the absence. Its core practical function is to ensure employees are not penalized for fulfilling civic or legal responsibilities, thereby balancing workplace attendance requirements with external obligations.
