Common use of Legislation; Contracts Clause in Contracts

Legislation; Contracts. A reference to any specific legislation or to any provision of any legislation includes any amendment to, and any modification, re-enactment or successor thereof, any legislative provision substituted therefor and all rules, regulations and statutory instruments issued thereunder or pursuant thereto, except that, for purposes of any representations and warranties in this Agreement that are made as a specific date, references to any specific legislation will be deemed to refer to such legislation or provision (and all rules, regulations, and statutory instruments and applicable guidance, guidelines, bulletins or policies issued or made in connection therewith by a Governmental Authority) as of such date. References to any agreement or Contract are to that agreement or Contract, and any amendments, modifications, supplements, exhibits, schedules, annexes, statements of work, riders and other documents attached thereto, provided that with respect to the agreements and Contracts scheduled in the Company Disclosure Letter, solely to the extent made available to Parent prior to the date hereof.
