Common use of LESSEE TO COMPLY WITH ENVIRONMENTAL LAWS Clause in Contracts

LESSEE TO COMPLY WITH ENVIRONMENTAL LAWS. In relation to its use of the Premises, the Lessee must, during the Term, and in relation to the Premises: comply with relevant Environmental Laws; use its best endeavours to prevent a breach of any Environmental Law; report any breach even if accidental; and provide to the Lessor as soon as reasonably practicable details of notices received by or proceedings commenced against the Lessee pursuant to an Environmental Law: (i) relating to a breach or alleged breach by the Lessee of an Environmental Law; or (ii) requiring the Lessee to carry out works to decrease the affectation of the Premises by any Hazardous Substance.
