Lessee’s Performance and Rights Sample Clauses

Lessee’s Performance and Rights. Any obligation imposed on Lessee in this Lease shall require only that Lessee perform or cause to be performed such obligation, even if stated herein as a direct obligation, and the performance of any such obligation by a permitted assignee, sublessee or transferee under an assignment, sublease or transfer agreement then in effect shall constitute performance by Lessee and to the extent of such performance in accordance with the terms of the applicable assignment, sublease or transfer agreement, discharge such obligation by Lessee. Except as otherwise expressly provided in this Lease, any right granted to Lessee in this Lease shall grant Lessee the right to exercise such right or permit such right to be exercised by such assignee, sublessee or transferee with the same force and effect as if such assignee, sublessee or transferee were named as “Lessee” herein. The inclusion of specific references to obligations or rights of any such assignee, sublessee or transferee in certain provisions of this Lease shall not in any way prevent or diminish the application of the provisions of the two sentences immediately preceding with respect to obligations or rights in respect of which specific reference to any such assignee, sublessee or transferee has not been made in this Lease.
