Common use of Lessor May Grant Liens Clause in Contracts

Lessor May Grant Liens. Without the consent of Lessee, but subject to the terms and conditions set forth below in this Section 20.3, Lessor may, from time to time, directly or indirectly, create or otherwise cause to exist any lien, encumbrance or title retention agreement upon the Leased Property or any interest therein ("Encumbrance"), whether to secure any borrowing or other means of financing or refinancing, provided that Lessee shall have no obligation to make payments under such Encumbrances. Lessee shall subordinate this Lease to the lien of any such Encumbrance, on the condition that the beneficiary or holder of such Encumbrance executes a non-disturbance agreement in conformity with the provisions of Section 20.
