Letter of Good Standing from the Commissioner of Compensation. A valid Letter of Good Standing from the Compensation Commissioner or a certified copy thereof must accompany the bid documents unless the bidder is registered on the Accredited Supplier Database of the Municipality and the Municipality has a valid Letter of Good Standing from the Compensation Commissioner or a certified copy thereof for the bidder on record. The onus is on the bidder to ensure that the Municipality has a valid Letter of Good Standing from the Compensation Commissioner or a certified copy thereof on record. A letter of good standing for “tender purposes” from the Department of Labour will also be accepted. If no such document/s as specified by the Municipality is submitted, the bid will be disqualified.

If no such document can be obtained within a period as specified by the Municipality, the bid will be disqualified.
