Liability for Accidents to Person. The contractor shall be deemed to have indemnified and saved harmless the Government against all action, suits, claims, demands, costs etc. arising in connection with injuries suffered by any persons employed by the contractor or his subcontractor for the works whether under the General law or under xxxxxxx'x compensation Act, or any other statute in force at the time of dealing with the question of the liability of employees for the injuries suffered by employees and to have taken steps properly to ensure against any claim there under.
