Liability for Past Records. The Subcustodian shall have no liability in respect of any loss, damage or expense suffered by a Fund, insofar as such loss, damage or expense arises from the performance of the Subcustodian's duties hereunder by reason of the Subcustodian's reasonable reliance upon records that were maintained for the Fund by entities other than the Subcustodian prior to the Subcustodian's employment hereunder.
