Liability of Selected Foreign Sub-Custodians. Each Foreign -------------------------------------------- Sub-Custodian Agreement with a foreign banking institution shall require the institution to exercise reasonable care in the performance of its duties and to indemnify, and hold harmless, the Bank and the Fund from and against losses, damages, costs, expenses, liabilities or claims arising out of or in connection with the institution's performance of such obligations, all as set forth in the applicable Foreign Sub-Custodian Agreement. The Bank shall grant the Fund a right of subrogation with regard to the rights of the Bank as they affect the Fund under any applicable Foreign Sub-Custodian Agreement.
