Liability of State. (1) The State has no obligation to provide legal counsel or legal defense to the Contractor or its sub-contractors in the event that a suit, claim or action of any character is brought by any person or persons not party to the contract against the Contractor or its sub-contractors as a result of or relating to the Contractor's obligations under this contract.
