Common use of Liability of the Policy Provider Clause in Contracts

Liability of the Policy Provider. Neither the Policy Provider nor any of its officers, directors or employees shall be liable or responsible for: (a) the use that may be made of the Policy by the Subordination Agent or for any acts or omissions of the Subordination Agent in connection therewith; or (b) the validity, sufficiency, accuracy or genuineness of documents delivered to the Policy Provider in connection with any claim under the Policy, or of any signatures thereon, even if such documents or signatures should in fact prove to be in any or all respects invalid, insufficient, fraudulent or forged (unless the Policy Provider shall have actual knowledge thereof). In furtherance and not in limitation of the foregoing, the Policy Provider may accept documents that appear on their face to be in order, without responsibility for further investigation.
