License Expiration. Professional staff is expected to keep licensure current. In the event a staff member allows his/her license to expire, the following may occur: ● The superintendent may require the staff member to obtain a substitute license if it is in the best interest of the district to allow the employee to continue to work. The staff member will be compensated at the lowest substitute daily rate. ● The superintendent may suspend the employee without pay until licensure is obtained or until the employee's contract is terminated by the board of education.
