Common use of Lien Clause in Contracts

Lien. ‌ As additional security for the faithful performance by the Concessioner of its obligations under this Contract, and the payment to the Government of all damages or claims that may result from the Concessioner's failure to observe any such obligations, the Government shall have at all times the first lien on all assets of the Concessioner within the Area, including, but not limited to, all personal property of the Concessioner used in performance of the Contract hereunder within the Area and any Leasehold Surrender Interest of the Concessioner.
