Common use of LIENS AND INSOLVENCY Clause in Contracts

LIENS AND INSOLVENCY. Lessee shall keep the leased premises and the property in which the leased premises are situated free from any liens arising out of any work performed, materials furnished or obligations incurred by Xxxxxx. If any liens are filed on the property, Lessee shall promptly discharge the same and shall take all steps required to protect Port's interests, including discharging the lien or placing funds in escrow in an amount acceptable to Port. Lessee shall pay all of Port's expenses relating to the filing of liens, including, but not limited to, Port's attorney fees relating in any way to the lien filing. If Xxxxxx becomes insolvent, voluntarily or involuntarily bankrupt, or if a receiver, assignee or other liquidating officer is appointed for the business of Lessee, Port may cancel this lease at Port's option.
