Limitation language Clause Samples
Limitation language is a contractual provision that restricts the extent of liability or obligations for one or both parties under the agreement. Typically, this clause sets caps on the amount of damages that can be claimed, excludes certain types of losses such as consequential or indirect damages, or narrows the scope of remedies available in case of breach. By clearly defining the boundaries of responsibility, limitation language helps manage risk exposure and provides predictability for both parties, ensuring that neither side faces unexpected or disproportionate liabilities.
