Common use of Limited Data Sets Clause in Contracts

Limited Data Sets. Business Associate may use PHI to create limited data set(s) in accordance with 45 CFR § 164.514(e), and may use or disclose such limited data sets for Health Care Operations, Research, or public health purposes pursuant to a data use agreement and in accordance with 45 CFR § 164.514(e) and other applicable restrictions of federal and state laws and regulations.

Business Associate may use PHI to create limited data set(ssets as defined by 45 C.F.R. § 164.514(e)(2) in accordance with 45 CFR § 164.514(e), and may to use or and disclose such limited data sets for Health Care Operationsresearch, Researchpublic health, or public health purposes pursuant to a data use agreement and in accordance with care operations as permitted by 45 CFR C.F.R. § 164.514(e164.514(e)(3) and other applicable restrictions of federal and state laws and regulations(4).
