Local Area Network. ISSC shall perform LAN support at Flagstar Corporate Facilities using the resources set forth under the Client Technical Services Baseline specified in the Supplement and described in Schedule J. A. LAN SUPPORT SERVICES (GENERAL) XXXX xxall: 1. manage the LAN and LAN functions; 2. operate the LAN servers and monitors at Flagstar Corporate Facilities; 3. evaluate new and emerging LAN technologies and provide support to Flagstar technology planning activities; 4. perform LAN design and tactical planning; 5. set-up hardware/software for the LAN to include hubs, bridges, routers and servers; 6. provide Levels One, Two and Three Support for hardware and software problem isolation and resolution in the LAN; 7. provide single-point-of-contact via the help desk for problem reporting and MAC requests; 8. perform MACs for the LAN; 9. perform capacity and utilization planning and monitoring, security, back- up, recovery and notification to authorized Flagstar users regarding changes to the LAN environment and access procedures; 10. set-up hardware and software for the LAN resource management, monitoring and control platform; and 11. monitor LANs for availability and utilization. B. LAN SUPPORT SERVICES (SPECIFIC) Examples of specific current Flagstar LAN responsibilities which will be taken over by ISSC include: 1. maintain backups of user and system data of critical file servers; 2. maintain mail gateways; 3. maintain dial up gateways (including but not limited to cc:Mail, Notes, Mainframe, Netware Connect); 4. installation, setup and maintain all Network related equipment, including without limitation, all file servers, Network routers that comprise the Flagstar Network; 5. topology (cabling) of LANs; 6. install, setup and maintain Network peripherals (including but not limited to CD ROMs, printers, distributed sniffers); 7. diagnostic troubleshooting and analysis of network (sniffers); 8. setup and configuration of Flagstar Group user, and vendor software; 9. reporting of hardware and software existence and use on LAN; 10. research and testing of new technologies relevant to network (including but not limited to, Web Server, Novell 4.x, Notes, Ether switches);
Local Area Network. The scope of AMC shall include un-interrupted running of LAN at Nangal Unit with 100% uptime for all the Active & Passive Components & their troubleshooting, carrying out breakdown / preventive maintenance of active (Switches / Media Converter etc.) & passive components of LAN. a) Trouble shooting of the network connectivity of PC / Server. b) Replacement of the passive components in case of its failure. c) Replacement & re-laying of UTP cable in PVC conduit/Channel in case of any fault on the back bone/segment. d) Replacement / Re-laying of Optical Fiber cable in GI Pipe/PVC conduit/Channel in case of any fault on the back bone/segment. e) Splicing of OFC.

Local Area Network. The Government will manage and maintain the OTC Local Area Network (LAN) that the Contractor will use to support testing, local e-mail and inter- communications. The Contractor shall obtain and utilize service from an Internet service provider for uses not accepted on the OTC LAN, e.g., the processing and storage of Contractor proprietary data. Government data and work will not be conducted, stored or processed on commercial internet service providers, commercial e-mail systems, and non-Government systems. Government-provided systems will not be connected to any commercial service provider except for authorized Virtual Private Network connectivity provided by OTC. Contractor owned/provided systems are not authorized to be connected to OTC Net and other Government networks. The Contractor shall not house its own servers in Government facilities. The Contractor shall provide support documentation to the Government as proof that any software, procured satisfies all security and information assurance concerns before the software is allowed to operate on the Government network.
Local Area Network. WorldCom agrees to partition its local area network and wide band network (collectively, the "INTERNAL NETWORK") in order to allow ILD to use such Internal Network for a period not to exceed ninety (90) days following the Closing Date ("INTERNAL NETWORK TRANSITION PERIOD"). During the first thirty (30) days of the Internal Network Transition Period, WorldCom agrees to provide the Internal Network for ILD's use at no cost to ILD. Thereafter, WorldCom will charge and ILD agrees to pay $5,000 per month for each month or partial month in which WorldCom provides, at the request of ILD, the Internal Network for ILD's use. Provided, however, WorldCom will not be under any duty or obligation to let ILD use the Internal Network after ninety (90) days following the Closing Date.
