Local Shopping. Goods estimated to cost less than the equivalent of $20,000 per contract, up to an aggregate amount not to exceed the equivalent of $8,200,000, may be procured under contracts awarded on the basis of a comparison of price quotations solicited from a list of at least three suppliers eligible under the Guidelines, in accordance with procedures acceptable to the Bank. Local Shopping. The following provisions shall apply to the procurement of goods and works under National Competitive Bidding procedures:- (i) foreign bidders shall be allowed to participate in the NCB procedures; (ii) bidders shall be given at least one month to submit bids from the date of the invitation to bid, or the date of availability of bidding documents, whichever is later; (iii) no domestic preference shall be given for domestic bidders and for domestically manufactured goods; and (iv) in accordance with paragraph 1.14(e) of the Procurement Guidelines, each bidding document and contract financed out of the proceeds of the Advance shall provide that: (1) the bidders, suppliers, contractors and subcontractors shall permit the Association, at its request, to inspect their accounts and records relating to the bid submission and performance of the contract, and to have said accounts and records audited by auditors appointed by the Association; and (2) the deliberate and material violation by the bidder, supplier, contractor or subcontractor of such provision may amount to an obstructive practice as defined in paragraph 1.14(a)(v) of the Procurement Guidelines.
Local Shopping. Each contract for consultant services estimated to cost USD 10 000 or more but less than USD 25 000 equivalent, shall be awarded on the basis of evaluating and comparing bids invited from at least three consultants.

Local Shopping. Civil works estimated to cost less than the equivalent of two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) per contract, up to an aggregate amount not to exceed the equivalent of one million dollars ($1,000,000), and miscellaneous equipment estimated to cost less than the equivalent of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) per contract, up to an aggregate amount not to exceed the equivalent of one million dollars ($1,000,000), may be procured under contracts awarded on the basis of comparison of price quotations obtained from at least three (3) contractors or suppliers, as the case may be, eligible under the Guidelines, in accordance with procedures acceptable to the Bank.
Local Shopping. Each contract for the supply of civil works, with the exception of those related to fisheries infrastructure, as specified in paragraph 10, part (i), above, estimated to cost USD 10 000 or more but less than USD 35 000 equivalent, shall be awarded on the basis of evaluating and comparing bids invited from at least three contractors.

  • National Shopping Goods estimated to cost less than $50,000 equivalent per contract, may be procured under contracts awarded on the basis of national shopping procedures in accordance with the provisions of paragraphs 3.5 and 3.6 of the Guidelines.

  • International Shopping Goods estimated to cost less than $100,000 equivalent per contract may be procured under contracts awarded on the basis of international shopping procedures in accordance with the provisions of paragraphs 3.5 and 3.6 of the Guidelines.

  • Shopping Goods and works estimated to cost less than $100,000 equivalent per contract may be procured under contracts awarded on the basis of Shopping.

  • Local Switching 4.1.1 BellSouth shall provide non-discriminatory access to local circuit switching capability, and local tandem switching capability, on an unbundled basis, except as set forth below in Section 4.1.

  • Union Shop All employees who are covered by the Union's Certificate of Bargaining Authority shall maintain membership in the Union as a condition of employment. Employees who are brought within the jurisdiction of the Union's Certificate of Bargaining Authority, including newly hired employees, shall become members of the Union by the first day of the third bi-weekly pay period after their initial date of employment in the bargaining unit. Upon receipt by the Employer of written advice from the Union, employees who fail to maintain membership in the Union or the check-off of Union Dues, or an amount equal to Union Dues, shall be terminated by the Employer from their employment. Where the Employer has knowledge of an employee failing to maintain Union membership, or the check-off of Union Dues, the Employer shall so advise the Union and, in turn, the Union shall advise the employee in writing. When the Employer is advised by the Union of non-compliance of either of the above, the Employer shall terminate the services of the employee within thirty (30) days of written advice as noted above. In the event an employee is terminated pursuant to this section, the following contract provisions shall not be applicable to the employee:

  • ADJACENT EXCAVATION-SHORING If an excavation shall be made upon land adjacent to the demised premises, or shall be authorized to be made, Tenant shall afford to the person causing or authorized to cause such excavation, license to enter upon the demised premises for the purpose of doing such work as said person shall deem necessary to preserve the wall or the building of which demised premises form a part from injury or damage and to support the same by proper foundations without any claim for damages or indemnity against Owner, or diminution or abatement of rent.

  • Collateral Shortfalls In the event that amounts on deposit in the Collateral Fund at any time are insufficient to cover any withdrawals therefrom that the Company is then entitled to make hereunder, the Purchaser shall be obligated to pay such amounts to the Company immediately upon demand. Such obligation shall constitute a general corporate obligation of the Purchaser. The failure to pay such amounts within two Business Days of such demand (except for amounts to cover interest on a Mortgage Loan pursuant to Sections 2.02(d) and 2.03 (b)), shall cause an immediate termination of the Purchaser's right to make any Election to Delay Foreclosure or Election to Foreclose and the Company's obligations under this Agreement with respect to all Mortgage Loans to which such insufficiencies relate, without the necessity of any further notice or demand on the part of the Company.

Requires advanced technical and business knowledge in software development life cycle, quality assurance, project management and other related disciplines/processes.

  • No Shopping None of Seller, its partners or any agent or ----------- representative of any of them will, during the period commencing on the date of this Agreement and ending with the earlier to occur of the Closing or the termination of this Agreement, directly or indirectly (a) solicit or initiate the submission of proposals or offers from any Person for, (b) participate in any discussions pertaining to or (c) furnish any information to any Person other than Buyer relating to, any direct or indirect acquisition or purchase of all or any portion of the Assets.
