Location of the processing Clause Samples

The 'Location of the processing' clause defines where personal data or other information will be processed or stored under an agreement. Typically, this clause specifies the countries or regions where data processing activities may occur, often restricting processing to certain jurisdictions to comply with data protection laws. For example, it may require that all data remain within the European Economic Area or prohibit transfers to countries without adequate data protection. Its core function is to ensure compliance with applicable privacy regulations and to provide transparency and control over where sensitive data is handled, thereby mitigating legal and security risks.
