Common use of Locks and Keys for Premises Clause in Contracts

Locks and Keys for Premises. No additional lock or locks shall be placed by Tenant on any door in the Building and no existing lock shall be changed unless the written consent of Landlord shall first have been obtained. A reasonable number of keys to the Premises and to the toilet rooms, if locked by Landlord, will be furnished by Landlord, and Tenant shall not have any duplicate keys made. Landlord may also furnish to Tenant, at Tenant’s expense, a reasonable number of card keys or building passes permitting access and egress to and from the Building and elevators within the Building. The distribution and use of such card keys and passes by Tenant and its employees shall be subject at all times to such additional rules as Landlord may promulgate from time to time. At the termination of this Lease, Tenant shall promptly return to Landlord all keys, card keys and building passes to the Building, offices, toilet rooms, and parking facilities. Tenant shall promptly report to Landlord the loss or theft of any key, card key or building pass. Requests for additional keys, access cards, or building passes shall be honored by the Landlord and shall be charged to the Tenant.
