Loss Of or Damage To Personal Effects. 50:01 In recognition of the fact that during the performance of their duties, employees may have their clothing or other personal property damaged, the Employer agrees to make comparable compensation, providing established Employer procedures and policies have been followed and proof of purchase of the replacement item is submitted. 50:02 No claims for compensation will be considered where an employee has or will receive adequate compensation from insurance or otherwise for the loss or theft of or damage to the employee’s tools, equipment or personal effects, or for luxury items. 50:03 Employees are responsible for any personal effects which are brought to their place of work and are not specifically required in the course of their employment; and no claim for compensation will be considered for loss or theft of or damage to such personal effects.
