LRV Public Address Clause Samples

The LRV Public Address clause establishes requirements for the installation and operation of a public address system on Light Rail Vehicles (LRVs). Typically, this clause specifies the technical standards the system must meet, such as audibility, clarity, and integration with other onboard communication systems, and may outline responsibilities for maintenance and testing. Its core function is to ensure that important announcements and safety information can be effectively communicated to passengers, thereby enhancing safety and operational efficiency.

The interior volume shall be equipped with automatic gain control (AGC) with local sound sensing devices to maintain a clear and pleasing audio within the LRV considering interior noises. C.
