Macroscopic examination Sample Clauses
The macroscopic examination clause defines the requirement for visually inspecting materials or products without the aid of magnification tools. In practice, this involves checking items for obvious defects, inconsistencies, or damage that can be seen with the naked eye, such as cracks, discoloration, or surface irregularities. This clause ensures that any apparent issues are identified early in the inspection process, helping to maintain quality standards and prevent defective goods from progressing further in production or delivery.
Macroscopic examination. The macroscopic examination of a full transverse section of the weld must show a complete fusion on the surface treated with any acid from the macro- preparation and must not show any assembly fault or a significant inclusion or other defects. In case of doubt, a microscopic examination should be made of the suspect area.
