Mainstream Interfaces. The NDIA, South Australian and Commonwealth Governments will support participants’ access to mainstream services as per the updated Mainstream Interface Principles, Applied Principles, and Tables of Support as agreed by COAG. Governments will work with the NDIA to ensure the interface between the NDIS and mainstream services is managed effectively and efficiently at the local level and in line with COAG policy decisions and to give effect to Schedule I (Mainstream Interfaces) in the Bilateral Agreement.
Mainstream Interfaces. The Parties will support participants’ access to mainstream services as per the Applied Principles and Tables of Support as agreed by COAG (Attachment A to Schedule I in the Bilateral Agreement). Governments will work with the NDIA to ensure the interface between the NDIS and mainstream services is managed effectively and efficiently at the local level, in line with COAG policy decisions and to give effect to Schedule I, Arrangements for the interface between the NDIS and mainstream services in transition, in the Bilateral Agreement. Efficient and effective development and implementation of working arrangements, including a schedule of issues to ensure the interface between mainstream and NDIS supports at a Territory level are established, maintained and communicated (in line with the Applied Principles and Tables of Support agreed by COAG) to maximise economic and social participation.
