Maintenance Expense Allowance. The Reinsurer shall indemnify the Ceding ----------------------------- Company for its quota share of the expenses incurred in connection with ongoing maintenance and administration of the Policies. The expenses incurred in connection with ongoing maintenance and administration of the Policies shall be equal to (a) + (b), where:
(a) 0.056% multiplied by 1/4th of the average aggregate account value for --- the Account Period.

(a) equals 0.0425% multiplied by the aggregate account value of the Policies at the beginning of the Accounting Period; and
