MAINTENANCE OF EXCLUSIVE RIGHTS. Subject to the Joint Venture's compliance with all terms and conditions attached to the Exploration Rights, at the direction of the Board of Directors, GEC-FGEB will undertake on behalf of the Joint Venture to ensure that for the duration of each Exploration Right the Joint Venture will be entitled to have exclusive possession of the area the subject of each Exploration Right for all the purposes of conducting the Operations.

LICENSORS shall keep LICENSEE advised as to the prosecution of such applications by forwarding to LICENSEE copies of all official correspondence relating thereto, and shall give LICENSEE an opportunity to comment on all applications, responses to Office Actions, Declarations and other papers before they are filed with the USPTO, and shall consult with LICENSEE concerning the scope of allowed claims before paying any issue fee.
