Maintenance Sub-Categories. The following sub-categories will be included within the Engineer classification. Assignment to one of these sub-categories will be dependent upon the employee’s work area/specialty, however, placement of the employee within the Apprentice Engineer, Junior Engineer or Aircraft Maintenance Engineer category will be determined by the criteria set out in Article 4.02.01, 4.02.02 or 4.02.03. It is recognized that, while an employee‘s work will primarily concern their particular sub-category, there will be occasions when the employee may be required to perform the work of another sub-category.
