MAJOR POWER. Art. 18 (1) By force majeure is meant that unpredictable, insurmountable and impossible to remove event, independent of the parties’ will, occurred during the performance of the contract, and which prevents the execution in whole or in part of the contract and which exonerates the party that invokes it. (2) The party invoking force majeure has the obligation to notify the other parties of the case of force majeure within 5 (five) days from the date of occurrence and to prove the existence of the force majeure situation within 15 (fifteen) days based certificates issued by the competent authorities.
