MANAGEMENT CONFERENCE. PDSC expects contract administrators, and any staff the administrator deems necessary, to attend a public defense management conference each year of the contract, whether the conference is sponsored by OCDLA, OPDS, or another Oregon State Bar approved provider. If the contract administrator is unable to attend, the Contractor agrees to contact the assigned contract analyst to discuss alternative options so that the community served by that provider is not without representation at a public defense management conference.

MANAGEMENT CONFERENCE. Contractor’s administrator or administrator’s designee shall attend an educational conference on the topic of public defense management each year one is sponsored by either the Oregon Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the Office of Public Defense Services (OPDS) or another sponsor approved by PDSC. If no representative of Contractor is available to attend such a conference, Contractor will make arrangements, in consultation with the assigned OPDS contract analyst to ensure that the community served by Contractor is represented at such a management conference.

  • Parent Conferences A. 1. Elementary and exceptional education schools shall be dismissed early a minimum of four (4) half days during the school year to grant teachers time for parent-teacher conferences.

  • Informal Conference An employee against whom the disciplinary action is being considered may be requested to attend an informal conference with the immediate supervisor, his/her designee and/or a Human Resources Administrator prior to official written notification or any recommended disciplinary action. At such conference, the employee shall be informed orally of the specific disciplinary action being considered as well as the reasons therefore and be given an opportunity to respond thereto. At such a conference, the employee may represent himself/herself and/or be represented by a union representative. Holding such an informal conference is discretionary with the District and the failure to do so shall not invalidate any disciplinary action taken pursuant to this regulation.

  • Evaluation Conference The final evaluation conference shall occur not later than the end of week six (6) of the spring semester. The purpose of the evaluation conference is to discuss the results of the visitation and other relevant evaluation information. If the team recommends that the District not employ the professor for the following year, no evaluation activities in year four (4) are necessary.

  • PRE-JOB CONFERENCE a) The Employer shall notify the union that a project has been awarded to the Employer following the award. Prior to the start of each project, a pre-job conference shall be held to determine all site-specific issues as outlined in the Agreement. This conference may be conducted via telephone, through a scheduled meeting or by some other practical means as agreed to by the parties. b) A copy of the pre-job conference report shall be provided to the Employer, the Union and the Job ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ (s). A copy shall also be posted on the bulletin board(s) at the jobsite.

  • SPECIAL CONFERENCES Special conferences for important matters will be arranged between the Association or individual employee and the Employer or its designated representative upon the request of either party. Such meetings shall be between at least two representatives of the Employer and at least two representatives of the Association.
