Manager Not Obligated to Advance Own Funds. Neither Manager nor any of its Affiliates shall be obligated to advance any of its own funds to or for the account of Lessee, nor to incur any liability unless Lessee shall have furnished Manager with funds necessary for the discharge thereof prior to incurring such liability. If Manager shall have advanced any funds in payment of a permitted expense in the maintenance and operation of the Hotels, Lessee shall reimburse Manager therefor on demand. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Manager shall pay from its own funds the expenses hereinafter described in Article V.
