Managing Effectively. Communicating Powerfully The portfolio-defense process spans the entire 8th grade year as an additional layer of deep reflection and meaning-making. It requires our students to use the skills they’ve gained during their time at SEEQS to build a cohesive picture of themselves as learners. To add authenticity to the experience and help students understand the real-world utility of these skills, we value building in community members as significant role players in the process. Within the school community, we’re constantly reflecting upon our practice and structures to add greater meaning and purpose to the task.
