Common use of Mandatory Retirement Age Clause in Contracts

Mandatory Retirement Age. If, consistent with applicable age discrimination law, the Employer enforces a mandatory retirement age, the Normal Retirement Age shall be the earlier of (1) the date the Participant reaches such mandatory retirement age or (2) the date the Participant reaches age 65 or, if an alternative is specified in the Adoption Agreement, the date the Participant reaches Normal Retirement Age as specified in the Adoption Agreement.
