Marginal Headings; Interpretation. The titles of the various Terms and Conditions and elsewhere in the Agreement are used for convenience of reference only and are not intended to, and shall in no way, enlarge or diminish the rights or obligations of CFCS or the CLPCCD and shall have no effect upon the construction or interpretation of the Agreement. The Agreement shall be construed as a whole in accordance with their fair meaning and not strictly for or against CFCS or the CLPCCD.

Marginal Headings; Interpretation. The titles of the various Articles of these General Conditions and elsewhere in the Contract Documents are used for convenience of reference only and are not intended to, and shall in no way, enlarge or diminish the rights or obligations of the District or the Contractor and shall have no effect upon the construction or interpretation of the Contract Documents. The Contract Documents shall be construed as a whole in accordance with their fair meaning and not strictly for or against the District or the Contractor.
